Designed to bring greater convenience, variety, and flexibility to the hospital community, Emory Healthcare’s newly refreshed Vidalia Café offers an elevated dining experience for patients, visitors, and team members.
The redesigned café features a more open layout that improves traffic flow while creating a comfortable, inviting environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Reconfiguring key service areas opened up the space and made it easier for guests to move through the café, explore multiple retail concepts, and connect over a meal. At the entrance, a produce wall highlighting local growers introduces the café’s emphasis on fresh, regional ingredients and gives the space a distinctive sense of place.

Convenience was also central to the experience. A new 24/7 grab-and-go market gives guests access to meals, snacks, and coffee around the clock, while digital ordering allows them to order ahead, pre-pay, and quickly pick up their food. Expanded retail concepts provide greater menu variety and flexibility, with offerings that can evolve throughout the year to feature seasonal ingredients, global flavors, and Southern-inspired favorites.
Named for Georgia’s iconic Vidalia onion, the café carries its local influence throughout the experience—from the design details to a menu featuring dishes like spinach and Parmesan egg bites with Vidalia onion jam, BBQ pork belly lettuce wraps, and peach cutie pies. The result is more than a refreshed dining space: it’s an approachable, modern destination that combines hospitality, convenience, and thoughtful design to create a better everyday experience.
