The Hub and Vision Builders helped Arkansas Children’s Hospital bring two hospitality-focused grab & go concepts to life: Market Coffee, a 400-SF lobby coffee shop, and The Exchange, a 24-hour self-serve market designed to support staff, patients and visiting families.
Working alongside Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects and Nabholz Construction, The Hub approached the project with foodservice operations in mind throughout the design process, ensuring each space aligned with brand standards, guest flow, menu requirements and long-term functionality.
Market Coffee offers a welcoming café experience with specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, bottled beverages and grab-and-go snacks. The Exchange extends that convenience around the clock, providing a self-serve respite area for hospital staff and families navigating long days of care.
The result is a compact, high-impact hospitality environment that supports comfort, convenience and connection within a state-of-the-art pediatric healthcare setting. The Hub is excited to continue its contribution to Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s 8-year, $371M expansion plan with a deli concept coming to the new main entrance lobby next year.
